The brief

After resetting the affiliate program on Impact, Carwow needed to elevate their program to align with their broader business ambitions.

What we did

EngageMore re-established Carwow's relationships with cashback sites, meticulously structuring contracts and tracking systems to meet their unique requirements. Although Carwow are unable to offer discounts, we successfully collaborated with major closed-user group sites, such as Blue Light Card, by utilising e-vouchers through Giftcloud. To optimise performance, we analysed subnetworks to identify traffic sources, ensuring Carwow only partnered with appropriate publishers and focusing on the most effective subnetwork partners. Additionally, we introduced email publishers to the program, instilling confidence in a cost-per-lead (CPL) payment model that significantly enhanced overall performance.

Focusing on the most effective subnetwork partners

We also forged partnerships with relevant car-related websites, seamlessly integrating Carwow’s valuation tool into their platforms. Within just four months, we doubled the number of listings for the main ‘sell my car’ KPI. To support the long-term transition of affiliate marketing management in-house, we mentored a digital marketing executive. Finally, we initiated and cultivated a promising partnership with a leading provider of cycling and motoring services.

"

EngageMore played a crucial role in elevating our affiliate program at Carwow. They re-established key relationships, optimised our partnerships, and introduced innovative strategies that doubled our 'sell my car' KPI in just four months. Their support in transitioning our affiliate management in-house was invaluable, and they even helped us forge a promising new partnership. Their expertise and proactive approach made a significant impact on our growth.
